   Prakash Lights was founded by Sri Mukund Lalmohan Mehta at the historic Mozhamjahi Market, once the heart of Hyderabad's building materials trade. From this pivotal location, he laid the foundation for a legacy of unparalleled excellence in lighting solutions, beginning with a focus on electrical and lighting products that would come to define a new era of luxury and innovation in the industry.
2. 1970

   Seizing the growing demand in the lighting sector, Prakash Lights made a decisive shift to specialize solely in lighting solutions. This strategic focus enabled the company to refine its expertise, foster innovation, and deliver tailored products, establishing it as a distinguished leader in the industry.
3. 1992

   Prakash Lights expanded by importing designer lighting, offering a broader range of exclusive products. This strategic move strengthened its position as a pioneering leader in the lighting industry, elevating its reputation for innovation.
4. 2007

   Demonstrating its commitment to growth and customer satisfaction, Prakash Lights inaugurated a state-of-the-art showroom in the renowned Banjara Hills, significantly enhancing its market presence.
5. 2015

   Prakash Lights unveiled a grand 20,000 sqft showroom in Gachibowli, embracing innovation and expansion. This establishment stands as one of the largest lighting showrooms in India, epitomising the company's dedication to scale and sophistication.
6. Present Day

   Today, Prakash Lights, a third-generation family business, has flourished for over 60 years under the leadership of Sri Mukund L. Mehta's sons, Vikram and Avant Mehta, and grandson, Rushit Mehta. With three premier showrooms in Hyderabad, the company offers an extensive range of lighting, fans, and outdoor furniture.
